Choose the "Location" option.
On the right side, click the "Create New Location Audit" button.
3. Setting Audit Parameters:
Assign Employee: Choose the employee who'll be responsible for conducting the audit.
Select Location: Pick the specific inventory room you want to audit.
Expiration Date: Define the deadline by which the audit should be completed.
Note: By default, the audit will encompass all products in the chosen room. If you wish to narrow it down:
Under "Audit Conditions" (on the right), you can specify:
Categories
Sub-categories
Brands
Specific products
Variants
4. Creating the Audit:
After setting your desired parameters, click the "Create Audit" button in the bottom right corner.
5. Conducting the Audit:
The assigned employee must log into their account.
Click on the "Audits" tab, followed by "Location."
They'll see the audit assigned to them. To begin, they should click on the audit name/link.
Press "Start Audit".
For each item listed:
Click "Confirm" if the expected quantity matches the actual quantity.
Choose "Report" to highlight discrepancies:
Provide the accurate balance.
State the reason for the adjustment.
Include any relevant notes.
6. Review and Completion:
After the initial round, the individual who created the audit must review the findings.
This review ensures accuracy in what we refer to as a "double-blind audit."
Once satisfied with the audit's accuracy, they can finalize by selecting "Complete Audit."
7. Additional Tools:
If preferred, the audit can be printed out to conduct it using pen and paper.
8. Syncing with METRC (If Applicable):
Upon completion, any adjustments made during the audit will automatically sync with METRC if you have an account linked.
Conducting location audits frequently ensures that your inventory management remains impeccable. With WebJoint, not only is the process streamlined, but it's also designed to be as accurate as possible. If you have further queries, our support team is always here to assist.
