Introduction:
In the ever-evolving cannabis retail space, offering kits can be an effective way to bundle and market products. Kits allow businesses to group multiple products together, providing customers with curated selections, potentially at a discounted rate, and faster delivery times. WebJoint streamlines this process by enabling users to create kits directly within the platform. This article will walk you through the step-by-step process of creating a kit.

Steps to Create a Kit:

  1. Start in the Inventory Section:

    • First, log into your WebJoint dashboard.

    • Click on the 'Inventory' tab located on the left side of your interface.

    • From the dropdown menu that appears, select 'Kits.'

  2. Initiate Kit Creation:

    • On the right-hand side of your screen, you will spot a button labeled 'Create New Kit.' Click on it.

  3. Naming the Kit:

    • A new section will open up. Begin by entering a name for your kit. This should be descriptive, helping you and your team easily identify it later.

  4. Using a Kit Template (Optional):

    • For more efficient kit creation, you can select from pre-existing kit templates. These templates pre-populate your kit with a standard set of products, saving you time.

    • Note: Creating a kit template is covered in a separate article. If you don’t wish to use a template or haven’t created one yet, you can add products to the kit individually.

  5. Adding Products Manually:

    • In case you're not using a template, you can hand-pick the products for your kit. Here's how:

      • Select the product name from the dropdown.

      • Choose the specific variant of the product you want.

      • Input the UID (track and trace number or package number) from which you're sourcing.

      • Define the quantity of that product to be included in the kit.

  6. Finalizing the Kit:

    • Once you've added all the desired products to the kit, click on the 'Create Kit' button.

    • This action will reserve the selected inventory for your kit. This means the inventory is now exclusively earmarked for the kit and cannot be used elsewhere unless manually adjusted or sold.

Conclusion:
WebJoint's kit creation tool simplifies inventory management and marketing strategies. By creating kits, retailers can offer more value to customers and optimize inventory usage. Remember, once your kit is set up, managing it is crucial. Details on how to manage an established kit are covered in a subsequent article.
