Starting a shift in WebJoint is a crucial step in activating your drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of your delivery services. This article guides you through the process of initiating a shift for your drivers using the WebJoint software.

Step-by-Step Guide to Starting a Shift:

Step 1: Accessing Vehicle Locations

  1. Begin by accessing the right-side navigation menu and clicking on "Inventory."

  2. From the drop-down menu, select "Locations." This will take you to a page displaying all your storage rooms and vehicles.

Step 2: Filtering by Vehicle Type (Optional)

  1. On the "Locations" page, you will see a list of all your storage rooms and vehicles.

  2. If you want to filter the list to display only vehicles, locate the "Type" dropdown on the left side. Choose "Vehicle" from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Finding the Vehicle and Accessing Shift Settings

  1. Scroll through the list of vehicles until you find the specific vehicle for which you want to start a shift.

  2. Click on the vehicle's entry in the list to open its details.

  3. At the top of the vehicle details page, you will see two tabs: "Shift Settings" and "Delivery Zones."

Step 4: Starting the Shift

  1. Click on the "Action" button associated with the vehicle. A dropdown menu will appear.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select "Start Shift." This action will initiate the process of starting a shift for the selected vehicle.
