Scheduling order routes efficiently ensures timely deliveries, and with WebJoint's Map Mode, this task becomes much simpler. This guide will walk you through the steps to create and manage a scheduled order route.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Switch to Map Mode:
Start by navigating to the
Orders
tab.Toggle to
Map Mode
using the toggle at the top of your screen.
Accessing Scheduled Orders:
Once in Map Mode, click on the tab labeled
Scheduled
.You'll be presented with a list of all scheduled orders for the current day.
Filtering by Date:
If you wish to manage orders for a specific date other than the current day, click on the arrow box icon located on the upper right-hand side of your screen. This action will open a filter panel.
From here, choose the desired date from the calendar picker to view scheduled orders for that particular day.
Creating a Route:
Look for an icon that resembles a pin with a plus sign in its center, labeled
Create Route
.Click on this icon to start creating a new route.
In the presented panel, assign a name to your route and set the date for it.
Assigning Orders to the Route:
With the route creation panel open, browse through the list of scheduled orders.
Select the orders you wish to assign to this route by clicking on them. They should now be highlighted or marked as selected.
Assigning the Route to a Driver:
After selecting the desired orders, click on the little truck icon. This allows you to assign the route to a specific driver from your team.
Saving Changes:
Once you've set up the route to your satisfaction, click on the red floppy disk icon. This action will save any changes you've made and finalize the route.
Using Route Optimization (Optional):
If you've enabled route optimization and wish to utilize this feature, you'll notice a green button labeled
Optimize Routes
after selecting orders.Click on this button to allow WebJoint to automatically determine the most efficient order to service the selected stops.
Please note, the
Optimize Routes
option will only be available if route optimization has been turned on in your settings.
