Steps to Navigate and Use Map Mode:
Accessing Map Mode:
Log into your WebJoint account.
Click on the “Orders” tab in the left-hand navigation panel.
At the top of the screen, switch from "List Mode" to "Map Mode" using the available toggle option.
Understanding the Map View:
Once in "Map Mode," a map of your delivery area or service region will be displayed.
Orders are visually represented on the map with various icons indicating their current status (e.g., dispatched, in progress, completed).
Using the Legend:
For clarity on what each icon or symbol represents, click on the "Legend" dropdown. This will provide a key for each order status icon, making it easier to discern order states at a glance.
Tracking Drivers with GPS:
In "Map Mode," you can also see the live locations of your drivers through GPS tracking.
Driver icons may come with a lightning bolt symbol, indicating they have inventory kits and are using the ice cream truck model. Without the lightning bolt, it suggests they're operating without these kits.
Viewing and Managing Individual Orders:
Click on any order icon on the map to access detailed information about that specific order. This includes the order's current status, driver assignment, type, source, customer details, and more.
From this view, users can also perform actions like reassigning the order, completing it, or accessing related notes.
Driver Route Visualization:
When you select an individual driver from the dropdown labeled "All Orders" (located on the left), you can view the optimal routes they should take, visualized on the map.
This route representation includes the sequence in which the driver should complete deliveries.
Users can manually adjust this sequence by clicking and dragging order icons, should they need to override the system's suggested route.
Customizing Dispatch and Route Optimization:
WebJoint provides options for automatic dispatching and route optimization, ensuring efficient delivery processes.
These features can be turned on or off based on user preference.
Scheduled Route Management:
Navigate to the "Scheduled Route Management" tab to plan routes in advance.
By selecting specific dates, users can view and manage all scheduled orders for that day.
Use the pin icon with a cross to create a new route. Once named, orders can be added to this route, which can then be assigned to a specific driver using the truck icon.
Conclusion: The "Map Mode" in WebJoint offers a dynamic and visual approach to order and delivery management. By familiarizing themselves with its features, users can streamline delivery processes, optimize routes, and ensure timely and efficient order completion.
