Using the WebJoint Inventory App

WebJoint's Inventory App is designed to streamline your inventory management processes, offering real-time package tracking, quantity adjustment, and inventory movement functionality right at your fingertips.

1. Select Workspace:

When you open the app, you'll be prompted to choose a workspace. For now, the options include "Packages" and "Settings." The "Settings" function currently allows you to log out, but stay tuned for more functionality in the future.

2. Navigate to Packages Workspace:

By selecting the "Packages" workspace, you'll be directed to a page listing all your inventory packages.

3. Select Location:

At the top of the packages page, there's a drop-down menu that allows you to select a specific inventory room location. This will display all the packages stored in that selected room.

4. Search or Scan Packages:

You can find a specific package by using the search function and entering either the package number or the product name. Alternatively, you can scan the package's QR code – a new feature introduced in WebJoint for seamless inventory management.

5. View Package Details:

Upon selecting or scanning a package, you'll see a detailed breakdown of the package. This includes the product's name, variant, current quantity, reserved inventory, receipt date, category, subcategory, product type, and vendor.

6. Track Package Location:

Underneath the package details, you'll find a list of rooms where the package is stored. By clicking on the three dots next to a room, you can move the inventory to a different room or adjust the quantity.

7. Adjust Quantity:

If you select "Adjust Quantity", you can set a new quantity and provide the reason for the adjustment along with any notes. Any changes made to the package quantities or movements are tracked and can be viewed in the activity logs in the WebJoint backend.

8. Activity Logs and Audits:

The Activity Logs for package movements and quantity adjustments can be found in the WebJoint backend. Soon, we'll be introducing an "Audit" section for more in-depth inventory tracking.

The WebJoint Inventory App is an intuitive tool designed to simplify inventory management, making it easier to track, move, and adjust your inventory in real time.
